We were established in 1994, and initially provided work based training in Health and Social Care & Childcare for both government funded and private learners. Over the years there has been substantial changes to the face of work based learning, from the NVQ through to the current focus on apprenticeships. In order to adapt to funding provision priorities, and to meet the needs of learners, employers and the local community, we have expanded and diversified our portfolio and now deliver qualifications from levels 2 – 5, in six subject areas, mainly in the form of apprenticeships, but we also offer individual qualifications funded privately or by the advanced learner loan.

VTS works with a variety of employers, both large and small, including care homes, nurseries, pre-schools, schools, offices, GP Surgeries, NHS & private hospitals. We are well known and respected in our local area.

We are very proud of our successful track record; our apprenticeship achievement rates are well above the national averages and our learner & employer satisfaction feedback is excellent.

VTS currently operates throughout the whole of Essex and into London, Suffolk & Norfolk. Our head office is in Westcliff-on-Sea and we also have a sub office in Colchester. Both offices serve as a base for our team of tutors who are spread throughout the county. As a local Essex provider, we offer our customers a personal service with quality at the heart of our operations.
